Born in Opelousas Lousiana, Chrystal Doomes is the youngest of four in a family of musicians. With both her parents being former band members, it was inevitable for Chrystal become one herself. Chrystal is inspired by Bob Marley and Lauren Hill. She is a singer and a song writer, but when asked what she is most passionate about her response was “Poetry”.
“Words mean something. Using the right words can bring back something that was meant. I just want people to love again. I tell stories in my poetry… everyone likes a good story.”

Natalya Brooks (aka Deuce Deuce) is a 26 year old Philadelphia native. A former slam poet with the Philly Youth Poetry Movement (PYPM), Natalya has performed and featured at several venues in Philadelphia in front of hundreds of people. She has been writing since the age of 10 and performing since age 18. She recently graduated with the highest honors from the nation’s first HBCU, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. She is new to the city of Houston and looks forward to the future she has here.
Erica Nicole is a two-time member of the Houston VIP Slam team which placed 5th in the nation at the 2017 National Poetry Slam. Individually, she has been a finalist in the 2017 Texas Grand Slam Poetry Festival, a semi-finalist in the 2016 Texas Grand Slam Poetry Festival, and placed 3rd in the 2017 Bayou City Poetry Slam Festival.
